Your Holiday Programme:

Day 1
You'll leave your chosen departure point for the journey to Portsmouth to board your Mini-Cruise ship to Spain. Once checked into your comfortable twin-berth cabins (with en-suite shower & toilet), you can enjoy the ship's superb facilities. Take dinner in one of the restaurants, then perhaps watch a movie in the cinema, before dancing the night away to the sounds of live bands in the cabaret lounge. If you're a bit of a party animal, the galaxy disco’ offers the latest sounds through until the early hours.

Day 2
After a lazy morning to recover from your evening’s celebrations, you can take a leisurely lunch in one of the ship's restaurants before perhaps relaxing on a sundeck lounger to top up your tan. Alternatively, you can join in the music quizzes, bingo, health & beauty demonstrations or dance classes held throughout the afternoon.

During the evening your minicruise entertainment team will again provide a cabaret musical extravaganza.

Day 3
Around breakfast time you'll arrive in Spain with the morning free to explore the old-town of Santurtzi and stock-up on low priced cigarettes, wines, beers and spirits. Alternatively, you can take an optional sightseeing excursion of the City of Bilbao, tickets for which can be purchased from reception on deck 6.  

 

Around lunchtime, it's back on board your minicruise ship for the return sailing to Portsmouth, where you can again participate in the afternoon's onboard entertainment. During the evening you will be entertained with a themed cabaret, followed by dancing into the early hours.

Day 4
A lazy morning is recommended before taking lunch and a last look at the onboard shops. Late afternoon you'll disembark your Mini-Cruise in Portsmouth and rejoin your coach for the return journey, arriving within your home area late evening or early the next morning.

 

Useful Information

 

Currency:
You will only need British Pounds Sterling for use whilst on board the Pride of Bilbao cruise ship, however, you will need Euros for use whilst ashore in Spain. A currency exchange facility is available on board next to reception.

Passports:
A full British or EU passport is required for this tour, as it is compulsory to vacate the ship whilst it is moored in Bilbao harbour. Holders of non EU passports should contact the Spanish consulate for possible visa requirements.

Onboard Meals:
Although meals are not included on board ship, there is a selection of reasonably priced restaurants available offering carvery, buffet service or full a la carte menus.
